The Association

The Rosemary Clausen Center’s Ninth Season celebrated a spectacular opening when The Association came to our stage. This was not a tribute band. It was the real thing, and they gave us an unforgettable performance.

The Association may have been one of the more underrated groups to come out of the mid to late 60’s, but their staying power is testament to just how good they are. The group’s remarkable body of work includes the likes of Along Comes Mary, Cherish and Windy. These are songs we all know, no matter our ages, and they allowed the band to occupy the highest reaches of the pop charts for years. Along the way, they also collected seven Grammy Awards, including for the sound track of the hit movie, Goodbye Columbus.
