The Texas Gypsies
The Texas Gypsies are a collection of well-seasoned Grammy Award winners who have supported many top jazz, swing and pop performers of their time, including the Blues Brothers, Barbara Mandrell and Tony Bennett. But make no mistake, they have an exceptional sound and style of their own that has made them one of the hottest attractions on national tour today.
They are best known for their unique take on Classic Jazz and Swing music from the 1920’s Gatsby era to the Big Band sound of the 1940’s. For good measure, they also performed Parisian or Gypsy Jazz style as well as Texas Swing made famous by the legendary Bob Wills. Their music felt new and familiar to us at the same time and left our audience eager for more.
