Sons of Serendip
Sons of Serendip garnered national attention in 2014 when they made it to the finals on the 9th season of America’s Got Talent.
The quartet, two former teachers, a former attorney and a former cello instructor, have been playing their instruments since childhood. Through a series of serendipitous events, the four came together in graduate school at Boston University and tried their luck on AGT. On the heels of that phenomenal success, the idea to form a group solidified and the foursome began a performance journey of creating music that blends R & B, soul, popular and classical music. Using vocals, a piano, guitar, cello and harp – yes, the first ever harp on our stage – these seriously talented musicians will touch your heart with their music. The New York Times has described the group as “silky beyond reason.” You’ve seen them on TV, now experience their music right here on the RCCPA stage.
